Promotion of Micro-entrepreneurship development in Agri-business

FnF supports “DeHaat” model to promote micro-entrepreneurship in agriculture
About DeHaat – DeHaat is easily accessible and single contact point for farmers for latest technology, source of quality inputs at affordable price, market linkage, and relevant information like market, existing government schemes, and crop schedule reminders. It is run by a local micro entrepreneur. . Revenue sources for DeHaat are membership free, distribution of inputs, and marketing.

Agri Value Chain Intervention

FnF works with its partner organisations to facilitate timely delivery of quality inputs (seeds, fertilisers, crop protection, etc.) to farmers at affordable cost.

FnF facilitates market linkage of agri-produce to help farmers get best price realisation of their crop and wastage could be minimised

Farm Demonstration

Under the Lead Farmer Project, FnF demonstrates Good Agriculture Practices and new technology on the farm of a lead farmer. A lead farmer is a progressive farmer who is open to experiments and encourages other members of the farming community to adapt the new technology.

Extension services

FnF works with agricultural scientists and experts to deliver reliable advisory services to farmers. The advisory is delivered through both online and offline platforms. The agricultural scientists organise trainings around the farm field thus giving real time and participatory solutions. Tools such video and audio conference are also used to reach out to farmers.
